1000 Reps Pushup Challenge

by admin on June 28, 2009

Try to perform 1000 repetitions of pushups as fast as you can in a certain amount of time.  Record that time and try to beat that time the next time you do this challenge again in the far future.  I know many of you who can do 100 pushups non-stop in a single set will say this is cake but this challenge is easier said than done.

The overall goal is to beat your own time.  Divide the pushups into sets of 20 or 30 and then crank them out until you get to 1000 and minimize the amount of rest you take.  This means no taking 1,2, or 3 minute rests.  Move quickly from pushup to pushup, from set to set.  Try doing all 1000 reps in under 30 minutes.
